Orion Construction completed 32 residential The Homes at River’s Edge: A five-story, river-front development that rests on the north side of Grand Rapids and is anchored by some of the city’s most beautiful green space and parks. The spacious market-rate apartments boast views of the Grand River, immediate access to the highways, secured/covered parking and a 3,000 square foot, locally-owned, modern American restaurant on the ground floor. Residential units provide a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, ranging from 816 to 1,654 square feet.

The surrounding neighborhood amenities include the riverfront boardwalk, a variety of retail, fitness centers and award-winning restaurants. The Homes at River’s Edge inspires a new way of downtown living that blends urban aspirations with appreciation for the natural beauty that Grand Rapids has to offer.

Orion Real Estate Solutions (ORES) acquired the riverfront site where a former office building was demolished and prepped for the new development.  With the help and collaboration of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, the City of Grand Rapids, and the North Monroe Business Association, ORES was able to secure neighborhood support and brownfield tax incentives for the mixed-use project.
