Project Description

Orion began construction on the 27,000 sq ft warehouse and corporate office in October 2018. The project scope included extensive site work, removal of unsalvageable structures on site, and construction of a “Green-Built” warehouse, corporate office, greenhouses, and workshop/classroom space. Public sidewalks were rerouted, and public roads were expanded.

Construction was completed on time and under budget. On-site recycling programs, waste diversion systems, high-efficiency building insulation systems, heating/cooling systems, plumbing systems, low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) paints, adhesives, and floor coverings were all focal points for acquiring the LEED points necessary for certification.
