Project Description

Thanks to a partnership with Union Suites LLC and Dwelling Place, 52 new housing units are nearly complete in Grand Rapids. The $12.2 million dollar project is being built in the area of 608-626 Coit Avenue NE. Union Suites LLC worked with Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) to identify projects in Grand Rapids that are experiencing increased rent
rates. Rental rates will be determined by household income and will be restricted to those whose annual income is 80 percent or less of Kent County’s median income. Grand Rapids-based Lott3Metz Architecture has provided the design and engineering.
