The Dewpoint renovation project inside the Bridewater Place high-rise started with selective demo of an existing office. Demising walls that compartmentalized space and blocked attractive views of downtown Grand Rapids and Grand River landscapes were removed, along with outdated finishes. Removal of materials within the occupied building required seamless coordination with property manager, Hertz Investment Group, as to not disturb neighboring tenants within the building.
New construction involved framing, mechanical and electrical of perimeter office spaces, conference rooms, meeting spaces, and kitchen area. New wall and floor coverings, ceiling and data networking throughout the space delivered the look and technical capabilities that Dewpoint required. The finished product was delivered on-time and on-budget.
Over the last five years (2014-2019), Orion has completed nearly 55,000 square feet and over $3,000,000 in renovation projects at Bridgewater Place. Exceptional planning, communications and coordination have been key in Orion’s continued partnership with property manager Hertz Investment Group at the Bridgewater Place.
