Project Description

Renovations to the 28th St BP Gas Station began with the demolition of an old carwash building. The project involved removing and rerouting utility trenches, working alongside underground tanks, and potential hazardous materials with minimal disruption required careful consideration and timing. The final phase required demolishing the existing convenience store only a few feet from the newly constructed 2,000 sq ft building.

The new convenience store is twice the size of its predecessor with a large retail floor plan, refreshment area, walk-in cooler/freezer, restrooms, cashier area, and back-of-house amenities.

In addition to the challenge of a tight job site, the owners also needed to remain in operation during the majority of construction.
