Project Description

Orion Construction broke ground in September 2017 on a four-story apartment building in the heart of the historic Heritage Hill neighborhood. The site was formerly home to the Social Security Administration office building which was demolished in August 2017.

ORES purchased the 2.3-acre site in 2016 and received unanimous city/Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) approvals to demolish the existing building and construct a new apartment building. Heritage Place contains 86 market-rate apartments (22 studios, 48 one-bedroom, and 16 two-bedroom) and 115 on-site parking spaces. There are two historic carriage houses on site that were preserved and updated per HPC specifications.
