GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Ever dreamed of living on the river front in Grand Rapids? A 10.2 million dollar project that broke ground Tuesday, March 28, 2017, on North Monroe Avenue can make that a reality in just 8 months.
River Edge Apartments is the result of months of work between partners Orion Real Estate Solutions (ORES) and SIBSCO, architects from Progressive AE and financial backer Chemical Bank. The end result will be a five story building equipped with 32 apartments both one and two-bedrooms.
There will be a 'farm-to-fork' restaurant on the lower level of the apartment complex with river front outdoor seating. Each resident will have access to a covered parking garage, as well.
President of ORES John Wheeler said the apartments will run from about $1,200-1,800, and those interested will be able to pre lease several months before the project is completed.
Orion and SIBSCO have partnered together on many mixed-use projects throughout the city of Grand Rapids, including the $7 million dollar Eastown Flats.
