Firm completes $14M Heritage Hill apartment building

The Grand Rapids-based general contractor ###a href="http://orionbuilt.com/" target="_blank">Orion Construction, along with Grand Rapids-based PURE Real Estate Management, hosted a ribbon cutting last month for the $14-million Heritage Place, at 50 College Ave. SE.

The four-story apartment building contains a mix of floor plans.

The 22 studio apartments are 431 square feet and rental rates start at $800. The 48 one-bedroom units, which are 591 square feet, start at $1,100. There are also 16 two-bedroom units with 1,066 square feet of space, starting at $1,600.

Each unit comes with a designated on-site parking space.

PURE began pre-leasing for Heritage Place in July, the Business Journal previously reported.

The building features several amenities: fitness center; storage lockers; bike room; clubroom for indoor and outdoor games; and bar and grill.

Heritage Place is owned by Orion Real Estate Solutions, which is part of Orion Construction.

Concept Design was the project’s architect.

Financing was through First National Bank of Michigan.

The project also received a Neighborhood Enterprise Zone TIF incentive from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
